About Adrian
Adrian specialises in Anger & Stress Management and helps folks get out of their rut, out of their past, and create the future they truly want.
He has been on a continuous learning curve about the power of the mind and how it influences the body, relationships and life for about 20 years. Adrian has developed a series of programmes to help with life’s challenges to enhance calmness, relationships, performance and ultimately happiness.
Who is Adrian Spear?
Adrian possesses two decades of experience studying the interconnection between the mind and its effects on physical health, relationships, and overall life quality. He has developed comprehensive programmes designed to enhance clients’ calmness, resilience, interpersonal skills, performance, and well-being.
Where did Adrian’s journey start?
Adrian has maintained a longstanding interest in the functioning of the mind and its impact on achievement and adversity. He began participating in 10-day Vipassana meditation retreats to deepen his understanding. Currently, he engages in daily meditation, conducts thorough studies of human behaviour, and attends an annual 10-day retreat as part of his ongoing practice.
Adrian is passionate about psychology, mindfulness, relaxation, meditation, emotion control, neuroscience, and quantum physics.
Who has shaped Adrian’s mind?
Numerous individuals have influenced his thinking, including Satya Narayan Goenka, Wayne W. Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Rima A. Morrel, Ph.D., Wim Hof, Carl Rogers, Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud, Thich Nhat Hanh, James Redfield, Abraham Maslow, Viktor E. Frankl, Anthony Robbins, among others.

Adrian’s teaching begins.
In 2010, Adrian developed an 8-week mindfulness meditation course focusing on emotional regulation and challenging irrational beliefs. The course ran for five years across Sydney and interstate. He also led a government mindfulness program that supported over 500 participants with stress management, highlighting the need for individualized attention.
More learning undertaken.
Adrian earned a Diploma in Counselling (CHC51015) and began helping clients with anger and stress management. Seeing widespread issues like anxiety, depression, and relationship problems, he adapted his business to better support people facing these challenges.
More study to help more.
Although many of Adrian’s clients experienced lasting changes after approximately four sessions, some continued to revert to previous behaviours. Seeking a method to address the unconscious mind, he studied Neuro Linguistic Programming, Matrix Therapy, and Hypnotherapy, achieving the level of Master Practitioner.
“By helping people manage stress and change their beliefs, we can reduce emotional problems like anger, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and relationship issues.”
Adrian’s Approach to Counselling
Adrian is an empathetic counsellor and results coach dedicated to helping individuals and couples achieve happiness.
Adrian provides confidential and professional services aimed at addressing present concerns by modifying beliefs and behaviours rather than focusing on past experiences. The methods Adrian employs include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Matrix Therapy, Logo Therapy, Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming.
Real solutions for real people.
“I have observed that in past sessions with psychologists or counsellors, I often left feeling that I was the one who came up with suggestions for addressing my concerns. It seemed that no advice was offered. Additionally, many clients have shared similar experiences.”
It is true that mental health practitioners are trained not to offer solutions but to help clients find their own answers. But unfortunately, many clients miss the subtle nudges from the practitioner.
Do your homework
Adrian provides his clients with a structured action plan and a detailed list of tasks after each session. He consistently monitors their progress between appointments to support their ongoing commitment to achieving their objectives.
