Events and situations happen to us which can affect us psychologically but also physically. These occurrences may go way back to our childhood or can be more recent.

In relationship we sometimes lose track of our togetherness. We may become too comfortable with our partner just expecting that the shopping is done, food on the table, house cleaned, kids looked after, cars washed, lawns mowed, and the list goes on. We forget to appreciate them. Intimacy replaced with sex as emotions go out the window. We may become more selfish and less understanding of our partners desires.
Adding to this are the pressures of everyday life, the stressors of work and financial constraints. Arguments become more frequent and more intense, frustrations and ill feelings build until the relationship reaches breaking point. And whilst all this is going on the kids suffer under the unhappy circumstances at home.
