Change is Tough

I recently made a decision to completely change direction on a business opportunity I took on 14 months ago. The opportunity left me time poor and under financial pressure each month. Yes, the results I received were not good and many decisions I made could have been better thought through but it is what it is.

Several things I have reflected on:

1. I have not failed. I have merely come up with poor results.
2. I am still a worthy person regardless of my results.
3. I am not afraid to change even though so much was poured into the project.
4. My mistakes have made me wiser

So it’s all well and good to say never give up, but sometimes there is a need to change direction, even completely. If you keep on doing what you have been doing, then you will keep getting what you are getting.

So never be afraid to wrap something up and start a new. The world is in constant change. It is the law of impermanence. Always be open and flexible to the ebb and flow of life and business.
